With this one product you can easily sharpen extremely dull blades, maintain razor sharp edges on both straight and serrated blades, and sharpen most household scissors. The unit’s unique features include: interlocking diamond abrasive wheels for fast and precise sharpening of both sides of your blade at the same time, and a manual finishing slot for polishing a freshly ground edge or for sharpening serrated blades. 1. My electric sharpener from Smith’s works great. It sharpens both sides of the knife at the same time, so the edge is centered correctly. Also, the circular sharpening wheels create a “hollow ground” edge that’s extra sharp – it’s like the edge put on knives at the factories of top knife companies. I could not be more pleased.

  2. Too slim to get my home made oboe knife made from a straight razor but still an excellent sharpener. I adjusted.
